OAKLANE CHENIN BLANC-SAUVIGNON BLANC 2009
An exceptionally aromatic winner from the highly skilled team at Beau Joubert, an estate with a rich history dating back to 1695, when the governor of the Cape, Simon van der Stel, allocated the property, Veelverjaagt to Coenraed Visser. Today, the farm is managed by Andrew Hillard, who took over as Managing Director in October 2000, when brothers Jannie and Lukas Joubert entered into a joint venture with overseas businessmen from Wisconsin, USA. Having fallen in love with the splendor of the Cape on his first visit to South Africa, Mr. Hilliard finds himself overseeing the project and now acting as Managing Director.
